		Surfnet has constructed a Network of 20 Access Points (transmitters) triangulating between Rural Soquel, Summit / Los Gatos Area, and Boulder Creek / SLV. In order to receive our signal, users must have some sort of Line of Sight. This means that from your home, generally at roof level, you need to be able to see out in a given direction. The signal can cope with a few trees, but not large groves of redwoods. Likewise, if you are down in a gulch, surrounded by steep slopes, the chances may also be slim. However, we have software here at the office that we use to determine if you are more than likely in range. We encourage you to call, and one of us will be happy to profile your location.
